You can also get the switchover dates by entering a postcode on the 'Digital UK' web site at;
Digital UK - Postcode checker
Then enter a postcode.

Or
Digital UK - Postcode checker main/display/basic/<postcode>/1/0/NA
Digital UK - Postcode checker main/trade/<postcode>

Replacing <postcode> with a real postcode with no spaces. (RH163LB)

UK digital TV transmitters radiation patterns | Blogs

Briantist

Thank you for adding the radiation patterns.
Can you explain what it all means.
EG.
Is 0' north?
Are the numbers going out from the transmitter the strength of radiation.
Are the circles in feet, millimeters, miles, kilometers?
Is the red line the danger line.

Also as the Haywards Heath relay is on the top of some flats, would this affect them if they live in the top flat?

C21 (474.0MHz) after switchover

Quest is listed in your EPG as channel 38.
Quest is on Multiplex A which is transmitted from the main transmitters.
The Multiplex A frequency will change depending on which transmitter you get your TV from.
If the rods on your aerial go up an down then you are getting your TV from a relay and will not be able to get Multiplex A.
If you can get ITV3 which is on Multiplex A, then you can get Quest.

What can I do when my Sky Digibox says 'No Signal' or &

Matt
First check that your box says that the signal level is zero in one of the menus.
Check that the cable to your dish is plugged in properly.
The centre wire must not be bent and touching the outer wire.
The center wire must not be broken.
Try using your old Sky box again to see if it works.
If not then the dish may have moved or the LNB damaged.
If there is a fault with the LNB then your new box may have damaged it and I would get someone to replace it.
Also check that the LNB power is on.
(Press services, 4, 0, 1, 1 with the Sky box but will be different with other satellite receivers)

BBC radio London 94.9FM is on Freesat From Sky if you have entered a London postcode as EPG number 0152.

Non London postcode enter:
Satellite; Astra 28.2 East
Frequency; 11.954 GHz
Polarisation; Horizontal
Symbol rate (Mbaud); 27.5
FEC; 2/3

Looked for BBC Radio Foyle at http://www.lyngsat.com/28east.html
but
could not find it. (RH163LB)

Really to replace Dave Ja Vu on Freeview
Wednesday 15 June 2011 10:02AM
Haywards Heath

Any new channel replacing a 'plus 1 hour' repeat channel is good news.
But as this is on a commercial multiplex and not on a public service multiplex it will make no difference to millions of viewers like me.

Griff
Dave Ja Vu is Dave repeated by 1 hour !

Backwards by one hour, so it should be called the "25 hours ago channel".

BBC2 analogue closes down first, then BBC1, ITV (or STV in Scotland) and Channel 4 two weeks later.
It sounds like you where viewing BBC2 analogue and not BBC2 digital.
All the BBC channels are on the same multiplex, so if you can get BBC3, BBC News etc you can get BBC2 digital.

P.S.
BBC2 analogue closed down on 8/06/2011 from the Glasgow transmitter, see digital switchover date | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice date may be different if you are getting your TV from a different transmitter. (RH163LB)
