When are SDN, Arq a and b going to higher , I only am getting 37 , all reliable now with a high group A but all the above multiplexes are missing. Would I be better at this location going to ?

Andy: According to the UK Tradeview predictor, you would probably get a better from . However, it only broadcasts the Public Service multiplexes.

The COMs (SDN, ArqA and ArqB) will be on full power from 18th April. From that date they will also be on higher power vertically, so you will be best advised to switch your to vertical from that date.

Without getting too technical, is there any for an old ON set top box? This has now ceased to receive anything on the Muxs Ch 24 and Ch27. is mounted. Would it make any difference changing the polarisation? All other work fine.

John Hewlett: I am wondering if the problem is that it will only work in 2k and not 8k mode. After , transmissions are in 8k mode.

Digital UK Tradeview shows that SDN/ (ITV3 etc) and ArqA/ (Pick TV etc) are still in 2k mode. It says that ArqB/ (Yesterday etc) is in 8k mode now.

There is a retune event on 18th April when the rest will increase in and move to 8k mode.

Hi you say that after 21st march ArqB starts on , but you give out Arqb as being in .

My problem is that I can not get any APG on ArqB, and the strenghth is 50% or just less. I have a ariel, and things were OK before the 12st march

Paul Foster: ArqB will remain temporarily on @20kW until 18th April 2012 when it will change to and the will be increased to 50kW on the horizontally polarised . Additionally it will be transmitted at 200kW with vertical polarisation from that date. SDN and ArqA change frequency and at the same time and will also transmit at 50kW horizontal and 200kW vertical.Note that in order to transmit Sports ArqB has already changed to 8k mode, this will account for the signal appearing weaker for some viewers.

Its the old Mux C (now ArqA) I'm bothered about. It has always been poor but now its gone all together now has taken place! I have the correct group A 18 element and it was only installed less than a year ago at considerable expence as we had to have all the and box replaced too.
Everything else is fine but that Mux C is now non existent... so much for progress!!
