my ariel is on the , i am missing itv1, c4, c5,evarything else is is ok,i have been told by an tv engineer that there is constant work being carried out on the , is there anything i can do,apart from being patience, thanks. from charles

I live in LE2 and currently choose the , my tuner only shows a strength of 5/6 although the research shows i should have a stronger signal (i do not want birmingham news etc), When the is complete will i get a better signal from Waltham and if so will a stronger signal improve freeview+ boxes reliability as i have heard some crashes/lockups/freezes and corrupt recordings are due to poor signal strength?

Mark - a '5/6 strength' is by far enough signal for your + box to work correctly. You will not encounter freezes or lockups or anything.
A signal strength that is 1/2/3 out of 6 would not be able to cope but 5/6 is fine.

Since mid day yesterday, 1st June, we have not been able to receive any of the BBC, ITV, C4 and 5 channels on any of our 3 boxes.
Even our no TV we get very poor on all but Channel 5.
We have rescanned with out any improvement and have even lost some channels such a 5USA...
The Ariel is only 3 months old, with all new cableing.

How come after 29 will be used for MUX SDN on but is to be used for MUX new8 on ? Wont this cause problems or is it just a typing error.

We have suddenly lost Mux 2 at Watham...based in NG14...i see strength on this page for this Mux is low...could this be to do with the weather....?!?!
