I have a Matsui DV3 freeview box live in the Birkby area HD2. I re-tuned on the 7th september Emley Moor transmitter. I have lost some one my channels e.g. ch3, ch4, ch5, bbc three, bbc four etc. I did do the retune that didnt work, tried reset followed instructions still did not work only 25 channels added mainly radio and channel 1, channel 2. Then i tried to add channel tune and 19 got added however ITV, ch4, ch5, bbc three, bbc four etc said re-tunning the channel would be 3 mins took longer than that about 10-15mins...but it came to blank black screen i can see on my description what programme was on (description came up) but nothing was showing! please help. Would these channels come fully on next tunning 22nd september?

The HD Mux seems to be a lot weaker than it used to be before the switchover. Not quite bad enough to cause significant picture breakup, but enough to cause the quality meter to move into the 'yellow' zone instead of 'green'.

Thomas: The HD signal has not changed, and it will not until Wednesday 21st September 2011 when it goes to full power.

D Gough: Switchover for Freeview HD happens on Wednesday 21st September 2011, not a moment before.

D Gough: The signal levels have not changed, with the exception of multiplex 1 being turned off and BBCA starting up.
On Wednesday 21st September 2011 the existing four analogue and six digital services are discontinued and a few hours later the final five digital services will start at full power.

ok thanks for your response Briantist and Mark Fletcher. shame really the second one that has been there from the start multiplex B is going to be turned off, i get that now at about quarter power so it would probably be more or less full power after switch-over. the new one is at about half power and the signal level on my box is in amber and breaks up every so often. Only gives you the signal level on my box dose not give you a signal quality reading, I am amusing the colour the siganl level is in gives you an idea of the quality of it.

debs: That will be "DVB", which is the generic name for the "Freeview" service, rather than the type of box.
Your box isn't on this list - TVs and boxes that do not support the 8k-mode | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice - so this My Freeview box has no EPG, is blank on FIVE, ITV3, ITV4, ITV2+1, has no sound or the channel line up is wrong | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice should sort everything out.
