During the last two weeks I have noticed that Freeview BBC channels have become weaker, with frequent picture freezing, and hissing and spitting on the sound. Previously BBC digital has been one of the better signals. This 'weaker' BBC has come about from a forced scan, and subsequent scans haven't improved it. I'm also getting West Midlands BBC local news instead of East Midlands. I'm tuned the the Walthamtransmitter, have a 'Freeview' aerial with mast mounted booster. I'm in Long Eaton. My concern is that this weaker signal will persist after all analogue channels have been turned off.
