Chris.SE: Thank you Chris. I wrongly assumed that the commercial DAB signal was transmitted from all the main stations. Doesn't make much sense that there is this coverage gap in north Northumberland and as a general comment, DAB is nowhere near up to replacing FM.

Fred Hotchen: I should have said my location is Broughton, Hampshire where signal is normally good on PSB muxes but marginal on some of the COM muxes, esp the one that has TPTV on it. Signal very down even on main Muxes and a lot of the time this evening, nothing at all.

Why is LBC not transmitted from the Chatton transmitter? Driving around Northumberland, it appears whenever you can get a signal from Pontop Pike or Selkirk but otherwise nothing. Chatton is a main transmitter so I don't know why it doesn't carry the LBC service.
