I have various freeview items including an integrated freeview tv. I retuned at the weekend as advised and since then I have been unable to get ITV1, C4, C5, ITV2, More4, E4 (basically all the channels in line 2 above). I suddenly got them back last night, a bit scrambled to begin with and then they were fine by the end of the night. This morning however, even though they are still showing on my channel guide, I cannot receive the pictures again and it keeps saying no signal. Is there a problem with the Heathfield transmitter (or possibly the Midhurst one)?

I have checked the page that you mention above and I do not have any other equipment nearby. Also, it has happened to all 3 seperate freeview devices I have, an integrated freeview tv (2 months old), an integrated freeview dvd recorder and a seperate freeview set top box on another tv all together.

Yes, but surely I wouldn't get any freeview channels or analogue tv if it was a problem with the aerial?

What does that mean? And what do I need to do? I can't see that the aerial would suddenly go after doing an update, especially when a lot of other people are having the same problem.

There has been a lot of people having the same problem all over the country and not just ITV4+1. Other people have also commented on the fact that they've lost the ITV channels.
However, as I am typing this, all the channels are restored properly again - but we'll see what it's like in the morning.
And surely if it was the aerial, I wouldn't be getting a perfect reception again would I?

They announced on the TV on Friday that there engineering works being carried out on the Bluebell Hill transmitter and may cause disruption this weekend.

I'm sorry if this is a silly question, but how do you know if you are getting HD reception? I am in the Burgess Hill area.

Can somebody please tell me how I can tell if I am receiving HD or not. I see that some people say they had HD before but have seem to have lost it, so how would I tell?

I don't appear to have these channels on my tv guide. How do I get them? Do I need an HDMI cable?

It is the same here. I updated to get ITV +1 on Fri night and then today I can't get any ITV Channels, Channel 4, etc. I hope someone can help.
