All you whiners... making and even just broadcasting TV is **NOT cheap** - actors, producers, authors get commission for their work, and then all the rest!!
who do you think they are, a charity?? No, they need to make money to pay all that stuff...
If you want better TV, you have to PAY!!
There are plenty of DVDs with all those repeats on, and in far better quality than some awful ones I have seen!!
- and no 10 minute long ad or news breaks, either...
Yes, you can subscribe to European TV, but don't expect it in English sound or subtitles.. :)

Stevan: yeah, moan, moan.... If you had not made sure of continuous commission for your work, then sorry... I do know that quite a few 'famous names' found this, due to bad decisions and agents! unlike most, these guys just went back into work...
but as 'Bally python' says, go back to what you did *before* multi-channels' came about...
Go back 15 years, and they said SKY would never survive, with their massive debts...
its way too late now... even virgin is suffering, due those who just wont bother...

yes, everyone has the right to buy a very heap device, and wonder why it fails in 6 months.... :)
And no, it is not a monopoly, until it fully takes over Virgin, freesat, freeview, and all those smaller cable companies...
It is just the same with Microsoft, they dont buy them up, so they can continue making loads of money legally, while 90% of people blindly buy it...

dont worry, some other station will soon take up startrek..
meanwhile you can get **whole series** on amazon for only 12 or 15 notes...
- and guess what?? top quality vision & sound, NO ads, and some packages include a bluray too! :D

trouble is, only 10% of the population knows how to find this site, or even just get the internet started!!
and where are the 'massive queues' outside the 'monopolies commission' then???
queuing up for their brand new HD box from virgin or sky I will bet...

Briantist: I mean the signal on mux 2 goes down to almost zero, and then goes back up again to 100% quality a few days later (I have not toched my equipment!) - on my old (2008) DVD recorder freeview.. Sony RDR-HXD990 (If anyone is using this in TW1, please say! :)
And yes, I have done all the checks, even disconnected any RF feeds to other TVs, that could disturb... (ch36 gives interferences problems or not??)
and my *brand new* HDTV seem to have no problems..

Hmmm, would not touch 'exploder' with a rusty stick, thats why I use linux!
I think an admin actually noticed, it has been corrected already.... and I have made **no changes** to my Firefox setup... :)
