I'm not able to get any signal for BBC B from the Walthamtransmitter. I believe this should be on channel 58 but my set is finding nothing on it at the frequency 770mhz and bandwidth 8mhz. I am able to receive good signals from channels 29, 49, 54, 56 and 57 but nothing from 58. I understand BBC B is a HD broadcast that requires a DVB-T2 tuner and I believe I do have this. Please can you advise what the problem may be?
My setup is;
Location: NG10 3TE
Transmitter: Waltham
Tuner: Samsung 46F6300 TV
Aerial: Wide band loft installation
Cheers mikeb. I too can get the SD programmes from Waltham. What I find strange is that I get zero HD (channel 58) reception, not even a poor a poor quality signal. Is this an aerial issue or am I making some other mistake?
