rob STRATTON: There isn't anywhere to enter your postcode on a Sky box. It's set according to the address the Sky account is registered to when the viewing card is issued and can only be updated by Sky if the subscriber moves house. A HD box will enable you to tune every ITV region, whereas only a handful of the larger regions are now available is SD since some were removed last year and several others were removed last week.

Walter Raybould: Do you mean the red button text service? Ceefax/teletext closed when digital switchover completed in 2012. Do you get anything when pressing the Text button on your remote when viewing any BBC channel, or do you get anything appearing on channel 250?

loretta vettrain0: I'm not sure which channel you mean, there isn't anything called Factual Channel on Freeview? I've also looked through the EPG and cannot see any programme similar to the one you describe at 9pm on any channel. Perhaps the programme was replaced with something else, as can sometimes happen if you are looking at a printed TV guide.

Laurence Clark: TalkTalk TV adds a number of internet streamed channels to those received via your aerial, so if your can get Freesports with the aerial connected directly to your TV then you should also be able to receive it via the TalkTalk TV box if it is connected to the same aerial. What signal strength and quality readings do you get on Freesports when the aerial is connected directly to your TV?

Freesports used to be available on Freesat, however the broadcaster seems to have decided some time ago that they are no longer prepared to pay the fee to be listed on the Freesat EPG. Most satellite receivers allow channels to be tuned in manually.

Maurice Hillier: The BBC have recently announced that regionalised versions of BBC One HD will be available in every region by the end of next year. This is very expensive to do as every region has to be upgraded to enable HD all the way through the broadcast chain, it isn't just a case of upgrading the cameras in the regional news studios, as there is currently only one version of BBC One HD for the whole of England, so 14 individual regional versions have to be setup, and they can't just insert the regional news at the transmitter.

David: Sony Channel, Sony Movies Classic and Sony Movies +1 are carried on the local TV multiplex, which is only broadcast in areas where there is a local TV station on Freeview channel 7 or 8. As there is no local TV station for Chesterfield, the local mux is not broadcast from this transmitter and therefore those channels are not available.

John Horsman: Depending on exactly where in Kingswear you are located (we need a full postcode to be able to check) you might be able to get Sky News and many other commercial channels from the Beacon Hill transmitter. Otherwise look at getting Freesat, or if you're only interested in Sky News rather than having more channels in general and have a decent broadband connection, there is a live stream on the Sky News Youtube channel.

cordie mendes: Try asking the broadcaster, this isn't their website and nobody here has anything to do with the management or running of any channel.

stephen p: Which ITV region are you trying to watch? ITV recently closed a number of SD regions, which are now only available in HD on satellite, leaving some of the larger regions still available in SD. None of them are encrypted, so you shouldn't need a viewing card for any of them.

V Taylor: Try looking on the All4 catchup service. Although you often find that films are only available for a limited period of time (or sometimes not at all) as the broadcaster may not have the rights to make the film available online.
