Dave: Thanks for the advice. Looking at where we are on the map, if you drew a line between Stockland and Rowridge we'd be bang on it. We also have a clear line of sight across Poole Harbour in the direction of Stockland Hill and nearby buildings ar arranged to provide a pretty good reflection of the unwanted signal into the front of the aerial.
I want to stay horizontal as I watch BBC4 HD but I want to be able to pick up ITVBe (wifey is a TOWIE addict) so I'm considering fitting another aerial on the same mast vertically and using a masthead combiner to mix the two signals. Initial googling says this would work but would appreciate your advice on this as I also have a masthead amplifier and am concerned about mismatching.

Anyone having poor reception on CH22+ from Rowridge? My Humax says that all channels are 80%+ signal strength and 90%+ quality with the exception of CH22 which is ok for strength but quality is 30 and the picture and sound are blocky and poppy!
