Janis - I have a working telephone line (which is provided by Sky). Can only assume that it is a fault at Sky's end as I have no signal (not even a bad one) when I check the signal strength on services, and have run all the possible checks to get this working

Ray - can't explain why, but you need to be live with Sky to access planner (basically stops you recording loads then cancelling contract and still being able to watch) - the recordings dont ever really belong to you. I'm still going loopy - I have insomnia and for some reason falling asleep with tv on works. Except when there is no tv! How can a bit of snow cause this!

I've also totally lost sky tv - can only assume it is weather related as cut off about 8.10pm when a blizzard started and can't get back even though just rain now. I live on point where Herts/BUcks / beds meets - just wondering if others suffer live in same locality
