KMJ: His window faces roughly east but on the inside of the building. Are any of the powered high gain aerials any good?

My Son is at university of Northampton Halls of residence. he moved from the third floor in one part of the halls to the ground floor on the other side. He now gets no signal whatsoever! It is within the Sandy Heath coverage area but not in near enough Dallington. The University does not supply any Tv connections So have to rely on portable aerial. Tried all positions with teh aerial, no luck.
