During the day and up to 10.00pm at night I have perfect reception with channel quality between 70% and 80%.
After this time the reception slowly deteriorates until the channels are un-watchable. Nothing has changed with my hardware or aerial so why the deterioration?. I will add that Notts tv is always very good reception even though the other freeview channels are chronically bad. I live in Grantham, and have manually tuned my set top box ( humax ). My aerial has a mastamplifier feeding 3 tv points of which one is used. I have an amplifier on this point without which the reception is worse.
