Richard Cooper: I have tried to retune to Sandale for Radio 4 on 92.5 - I get a signal but much inferior to previous signal from Cambret Hill - sound is very distorted - painful to listen to. Jim Davidson

Richard Cooper: Thank you for advice but I do not need aerial in loft as signal from Cambret Hill has now returned to normal - no idea what problem was - official line seems to be that no problem ever existed - Jim Davidson

bbc radio4 fm from this transmitter has not been available in Tongland,Kirkcudbright area for over a fortnight. I have tried four different radios in various locations and what was previously a good reception is now a complete blank. Several other people in the area report the same complete absence of reception. There is definitely a problem with this transmitter. If I run a check on Radio and Television Investigation Service I am told that Sandale transmitter has no problems but Icannot check signal from Cambret hill
