Spencer Leigh: Thanks, Brian, for this and I presume you mean holding down Power/Standby for five seconds or so. This brings up the clock but then it goes back to Update.

It is Sunday at 6.50am and still my two Sony players HXD 890 are only showing "Update" and it seems impossible to change that. When is Winter Hill going to make some correction to right this problem? Or isn't Wintr Hill able to do that?
