Picture before DSO was fine. I've no idea if I have a mast amplifier. I'm afraid I'm totally ignorant when it comes to TV stuff.
I suspect I should get a local TV engineer to have a look at things.
Its an LG TV and I found a Booster option in the settings. When I switch it on then the picture improves to the point of being very watchable. Just the odd breakup of signal.

I have a Freeview HD TV that has picked up all the RTE channels including RTE 2 HD on CH 52. Unfortunately the signal strength looks about 8% whereas the quality is about 85% or more. The picture breaks up a lot. Is there anything I can go to get strength up. I have a seperate RTE aerial from 15yrs ago installed on roof. I can see no way to het the NIMM transmissions. My postcode is BT8 8RU near Carryduff.
