Hi

It's worth noting that much of West Sussex also relies on this transmitter and I think the number of households that it covers is a vast underestimation (Hayward's Heath and one or two E.Sussex towns have more households alone!).

Crystal Palace is not an option as it doesn't get anywhere near Sussex.

I've also noticed on ours and other peoples TV the SD channels that are on the newer MUX 7 in HD are very low quality even by SD standards, as if the resolution or bit rate of the signal is very low.

So we're looking at parts of Kent, East Sussex and parts of West Sussex that will never get the new MUX 7 & 8? We must make up most of that 30% that can not get the newer extended HD channels.

This is on top of being made a group D transmitter at the start of digital switch over, one year later having to fit filters when 4G was launched and then moved to group B transmitter a year or so later!

Saying "use freesat" is not really helpful as many people have signed up for Freeview type subs via BT/TalkTalk etc and having two box's is frankly silly.

All major transmitters should broadcast all MUX (I can see how some relay stations may not be able to do so)!
