The charts (or graphical) information on two web pages for the Sandy Heath transmitter ( Sandy Heath digital TV transmitter | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice and Freeview on Sandy Heath TV transmitter | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice ) are still rather confusing, even though the initial error re. C67 (Arqiva B) has been corrected since the early hours of April 13th.
But why show the TEMPORARY (i.e. currently correct) frequency for Arqiva B yet show the FINAL 'resting' frequencies (i.e. currently incorrect) for Arqiva A and SDN. I realise that the " NOTE:" underneath the charts explains all, but, as they say, "a picture paints a thousand words....."
We need some kind person to put charts in for 13th April to 30th August 2011, 31 August to 13th September 2011, 14th September to 22nd November 2011, and 23rd November 2011 onwards.

Your postcode on the Digital UK postcode checker suggests 100% reception. You may have too much signal, and a plug in attenuator may be the answer. BBC channels went full power on the 30th which is when you say the problem stated.

Yan Lee: Unfortunately the software really only supports 'before Freeview' - 'low power DTT' - 'after switchover'. It wasn't designed to support so many changes both before and after switchover.
The only exception I can think of is Rowridge, which shows before and after 25 March 2009.
Digital UK's postcode checker (trade view) shows all events that are currently planned, and what that will do to your reception.
We're also somewhat behind Digital UK in terms of information because the broadcasters are changing it at the last minute and Ofcom aren't keeping up. Other than scraping the DUK trade view, there's not a lot we can do (and DUK don't publish the power levels). (DUK is mainly a front for the broadcasters.).

Dave: Sandy Heath is at a bearing of 198°. However, Waltham (East Midlands) or Belmont (Yorkshire & Lincolnshire) are expected to give better results.

My strongest signal doesn't bear any relationship to these channels. My topfield recorder has found channels
27 Mux1,
24 Mux2,
43 also described as Mux2,
40 Mux C,
67 Mux D,
48 described as RF.
What's happening?

I have installed a new digital aerial in my loft, i have a masthead amp also.
But i cannot get the five usa channel or film 4 channels.
Is there a plan to boost the signal on these services to 180 k ?

Marcus: Yes, as above "The commercial multiplexes at Sandy Heath will remain on their pre-switchover channels and powers for a period after digital switchover. SDN will then temporarily move to channel 31 (at 20kW ERP) on 31 Aug 2011, before adopting its final allocation of channel 51 on 18th April 2012. Arqiva A will adopt its final allocation of channel 52 on 23 Nov 2011. Arqiva B will temporarily move to channel 67 (at 20kW ERP) at switchover and then it will adopt its final allocation of channel 48 on 14 Sept 2011. "

CM19 5EA is the postcode. The aerial is about 15 years old, but I recently fitted a new masthead preamp and rewired the run to the TV in the correct type of coax for digital.

Well where do i start!
BEFORE the switchover we were getting Dave,Davejauvu,E4+1,Sky Three (pick tv) pretty much 95% of the time since 2007.
AFTER the March switchover at Sandy Heath we gained new stations BBC1,BBC2,BBC3,BBC4,BBC News and some other stations.
AFTER the April 13th switchover we have gained some stations but lost others,then some of the new stations we have gained dont work 100% of the time,for instance Dave,Davejauvu,E4+1 now go totaly down when before switchover they were fine 95% of the time, ITV2+1,Challenge,5 Star,5 USA and others also go totaly down and dont work, and we cant even get Film4,Four Music,Virgin,TMZ etc. BEFORE the switchover we could 'sometimes' get Film 4,Virgin,TMZ etc on rare ocasions.
We have a high end Panasonic freeview,dvd & video recorder combi,a high end 42" LG HDTV with built in freeview, and a high end Samsung 23" HDTV with built in Freeveiw.
We are in Hilgay near Downham Market.
