Ridgehill:-
BBC4 on ch63? this was switched off on 6th April as part of part 1.
It is now on ch28.
From the 20th April part 2 of DSO should happen. You will find CH21+/CH22+/CH24/CH25/CH27/CH28 should give you all of the Freeview available including HD.

Sid: They don't actually shut down Mux B at stage 1, you just get two copies of the BBC in the two weeks between step 1 and step 2.

John: People who had good before often find that they have too much signal once switchover starts. If you have an or booster, remove it. If not, or that doesn't, try adding an attenuator. If it is a case of too much signal, it will probably get worse after switchover.

If Mux B on is working with a Group A , you are probably very close to the - most people would find it didn't work without a .

Mike, 3 storey terrace on pole on chimney. BBC 4 on 63 breaks up but perfect on ch28 prog 803. Sure it will be ok after 20th.

when i moved here[] i had to get in tv people as my bravia did not pick up to well a and aerial splitter were put on [4 tv`s]will i have to disconnect the booster when retuning on 20th?

caroline: If the strength now is showing very high you might have too much signal, the power increase is ten times for the PSB muxes and five times for the COM muxes. However if you are having no problem currently with high power MuxBBCA you should be ok after step2.It is perfectly reasonable for some amplification to be used to run 4 tvs and the installer should have installed equipment which would be ok after switchover. If you merely switch off the power or remove the power supply to the the tvs might mot work at all.

tv team said that have having problems .

I keep getting '''' across a perfect at times or the screen suddenly goes blank and I lose the . Have retuned every day ........sometimes several times a day. Engineers said my signal was fine .
