Paul: Waltham doesn't transmit Look North .It is the main transmitter for the East Midlands.Nottingham is a relay from it which also transmits central and BBC1 East.
If you're receiving Look North it's coming from Emley Moor in Yorkshire.
You want to try and get Waltham as it's the main transmitter.
Not all the multiplexes are on full power yet so some channels might break up .See this page

Not long ago(1year a month)i had a new aerial fitted,but for the last 2weeks im not able to see images at all.My tv is a freeview.Do you think i need a new instalment aerial? I'm desperately to see if you can sort my tv out,please.

Why have a lot of the freeview digital channels got such a low power output ? Reception of many channels is lousy, and yes my aerial, wiring and equipment is current and up-to-date (Humax & bang&Olufsen), while the main channels are OK (BBC..). Every time the wind blows a lot of these digital channels become a screen full of pixels.
Never had these problems with analogue.
Please BOOST power to the low ouput digital freeview stations. MORE POWER
MORE POWER, it's the case that with the weedy power output of many channels, digital tv sucks.

Why when the weather is good I cannot get some freeview channels ? 12 & 24 for instance.When the weather is bad they are fine why ?

Alex W: On the Nottingham transmitter ALL the multiplexes are at the same power level, 400W.
If you have problems in the wind, your aerial is moving around and it most likley that there is a "dry joint" in the cable causing the signal to degrade. See Freeview reception has changed? | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice

Notts transmitter is low at top end CH67 very low, CH63 poor, CH48 Med, Ch21 24 27 very high, is it a fault? using a LOG on 10" mast, Vision V51-205 (Low off aerial) poor pictures 30 Flats, any poor leads and they get nothing !

Darren: You should be able to have excllent reception of all multiplex, as shown at the top of the page all services are output at the same level.
There is a graph on the Aerial group performance | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice page which may explain the levels you are receiving.
You would normally expect to use single-channel repeaters in a 30-flat distribution system with one amplification unit for each used channel.
