We have a freeview box downstairs and in one bedroom, but in our room we dont have a TV aerial socket. We use an actual aerial which gets crappy signal.

We dont want to lose channels in our room so what can we do? We've tried freeview boxes but the signal they get is intermediate-with the aerial pointing one way we get the bbc channels and little else. Point it another way and get the everything else, but no BBC.
Whats our best option?

hi I'm having real trouble getting any kind of signal for Radio 2 in Leicester. I travel in from Sileby down the A6 every day, and frequently the signal is lost on the way. I know this isn't my car radio's fault because we travelled to Stansted airport and back and Radio 2 was fine in both directions from Melton Mowbray onwards. Also, other radio stations have perfect reception on my normal journeys around Leicester. Can you help explain, or give me some idea of where to get help with it? It would be much appreciated, so i don't have to listen to Smooth radio or Takeover in the mornings!!

Jez: There are no problems reported with the radio transmitters in your area at all.
Can you see the BBC - Reception problems page to report the problem to the BBC?

C: It depends on the transmitter you are using, only Lichfield has a HD service at the moment.

I have just moved to le2 9ny. I have a loft aerial with booster, but no plumbing pipes in loft. Cannot get strong enough signal to drive my digital recorder, and ch 3,4, and 5 pixelate. If I switch from sutton c to waltham will things improve? Or is a roof mount required?
