All:

Bilsdale retune 12th March.
This was only added to the changes last month. It's only a simple change where the PSB1/BBCA & PSB3/BBCB HD multiplexes are swapping UHF channel.
PSB1 moves from C21 to C27, and PSB3 moves from C27 to C21.
As it's a simple change I would imagine that the transmitter will not be off-air for very long, just after midnight.

@Chris.SE

How do you find out about these changes to Bilsdale?
I use an overly complicated setup with tvheadend on a raspberry pi, so when the frequencies get changed I don't know until someone watches it, which is quite annoying when you just want to watch TV!
It was easy enough to change and rescan but only thanks to your post stating exactly what it was that had changed, I'd have been lost without it!

Hi, from Freeview | All your favourite TV shows, all in one place and all for free corporate/platform-management/700mhz-clearance">What is 700MHz clearance? | Freeview about 3/4 way down the page Freeview | All your favourite TV shows, all in one place and all for free corporate/platform-management/700mhz-clearance">What is 700MHz clearance? | Freeview /clearance-events-2020
There's a list of changes and dates, then further down you can select a pdf document for a given region.

However, these documents do sometimes have errors. It pays to double check the predicted reception at your location by putting postcode and house name/number in the box on Freeview | All your favourite TV shows, all in one place and all for free then on the new page scroll right down and select "Detailed view". You can see potential transmitters and multiplexes, dates of any changes, hovering over various bits gives more detail like mode & power etc.
At the top of the page you can select a Region to get details of each of the regions' transmitters, which contain a history of channels and changes but not mode & power detail.
Even those pages do have some errors now and then.

HTH.

UHF channels used by Bilsdale are C27, C24, C21, C43, C46, C40, C55, C56 & C30 in the order PSBs1-3, COMs 4-8, and the Local mux.
Remembering the theoretical C+5 and C+9 rule, you've got a gaps there at C23, C32, C33, C48, C49, C52, C53, C54 but as interference could end up on an adjacent channel, personally I'd choose something well above C56, you've got the pick from say C60-C68.

The Bilsdale transmitter is currently listed for Planned Engineering, so it's likely this work is what's affecting the signal.

The Bilsdale transmitter is currently listed for Planned Engineering, so the signals may be intermittent during the work.
