UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. A single click will select the transmitter to view the coverage for a single site, and a double click goes to a page showing full details. Click on the buttons in the right-hand corner of the map to choose from different frequencies (or multiplexes for DAB).

This transmitter has no current reported problems

The BBC and Digital UK report there are no faults or engineering work on the Ullapool (Highland, Scotland) transmitter.

Poor from R3 and R4 was reported to the BBC website on 2 Aug.
The report read -
FM R4 96.10 Mhz and R3 90.5 suffers from intermittent 'drop-outs' lasting fractions of a second that makes listening unpleasant and irritating. I have several receivers, several portable and one - a Quad FM4 tuner - connected to a permanently installed external . This fault is evident at all times and appears on all my receivers. When listening on the car radio in village (about 1.5 miles from my house) the fault is still there. Internet Radio is unaffected. is not available here. It seems to me that the problem is not caused by my receiving equipment or installation.
I have looked at the Checker and no problem is reported in Ullapool. You asked me to speak to my neighbours; I live in an area remote from Ullapool Village and have no nearby neighbours.

The BBC website and this one report no faults but the problem is still there. Is there anything you can do?
