UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. A single click will select the transmitter to view the coverage for a single site, and a double click goes to a page showing full details. Click on the buttons in the right-hand corner of the map to choose from different frequencies (or multiplexes for DAB).

This transmitter has no current reported problems

The BBC and Digital UK report there are no faults or engineering work on the Bristol - Rawnsley House (City of Bristol, England) transmitter.

Same position as you Brian. I'm in Old Market, Bristol. Can only find 8 channels after 27 March. Don't suppose the 8 channels are: ITV, Ch4, Ch5, ITV2, Ch4+1, More4, E4, ITV+1?

Steve: Are you using a communal aerial? If so it might require adjusting to accommodate the new frequency introduced recently. If it is your own aerial, or a correctly equipped communal aerial, make sure that the receiver is storing channels for the correct transmitter for the aerial. Signals from Barton House or Ilchester Crescent could in some situations be tuned in when, for example, the aerial is pointing to Mendip. In that situation, as a workround try scanning for channels with the aerial unplugged until about C46, then plug it in to cover the Mendip frequencies. For Ilchester Crescent frequencies insert the aerial at about C36. Otherwise clear the channel list, then do a manual tune for each of the frequencies for muxes from the desired transmitter.
