Chandra:

The simple answer to both questions is No!

Freeview is only transmitted from ground-based stations within the UK and the signals barely reach northern France and no further, so reception in India is completely out of the question - far too far away and no 'line of sight' from transmitter to receiving aerial.

The 'footprint' of European satellites, as used for Sky and Freesat, do not cover India at all, so again no way of receiving the signals. Note that Freeview is not transmitted on any satellite, only on the above mentioned ground based transmitting stations.

The only possibility is if you have access to the internet at a fast enough speed to find a few of the services that are provided on-line, but that is certainly not all of them.
