I should have said my free view box, it's a bush bu11FVRSD series hardware - main board v1.1 software version a30-1b-0107. Al of that means nothing to me by the way, I have no idea about these things, all I was hoping to find out is if I take the box abroad to Africa or to the Caribbean whether I would be able to access the hard drive bit where I've recorded lots of films, if this can still be used in another country. I'm going to be moving overseas, and was wondering if my freesat box would connect to the tvs over there, not to watch channels but to watch my recorded stuff on there? If anyone knows the answer I would really appreciate it, thanks
