Hello there, whilst my aerial reception is very good I am not receiving all of the HD stations I should . I am unable to obtain the following :- 101 BBC1 HD, 102 BBC2 HD, 103 ITV HD, 104 C4 HD, etc. Other HD stations 106 upwards are all ok. Any advice please
Regards Tim

TIMOTHY GAUNTLETT: Thanks for speedy reply. I reside in Bournemouth and have not altered any aspects of my aerial or installation. It was only after having new HD tv I discovered that I was unable to receive these HD stations. My aerial was erected in 2005/2006. and my reception is very clean on all other channels HD or not. I am not using a signal booster.

Hi there and thanks for your replies. I have in part resolved the problem and it was down to my stupidity in forgetting that the TV is connected via a DVD recorder/player. Disconnecting this and connecting the aerial direct to the TV and carrying out a retune solved the problem and I was able to receive all the HD channels. After then connecting back to the player I was once again missing those same HD channels. The DVD recorder/player is a few years old now so am I likely to suffer the same problem if I upgraded to a new 2016? model.
I live in the BH11 area of Bournemouth/Poole.

jb38: Hi there, PROBLEM SOLVED! My DVD recorder has the facility to either adjust the RF output or if connected to the TV thru scart turn off altogether which was the option I chose and the result was I am now receiving all the HD channels I was missing. Thank you very much for your excellent help, your speedy response and advice. I have learned a great deal from our exchanges and am very grateful.
