The last 2 nights ive been losing channels. Monday night ALL stations went to 'no signal' and were down for hours. Then Tuesday night they were dropping in and out and pixelating.

Over the last 3 days all HD stations are down. We have never had a problem HD stations before, even had a brand new ariel put/set up by a pro back in November of last year, worked perfectly until the last 3 days???? Postcode PE38.

I can't understand all this. All i know is i've been losing stations over the last 3 days. All HD stations are totally gone and others are pixelating. For years this freeview thing has caused nothing but headaches and lots of cash. One minute it's ok the next they switch something over and then it's not ok, then you have to fork out more cash to make it ok, it's on going cycle. I finally had a new ariel set up in November 2012, everything has been perfect until 3 days ago. I'm really fed up with it all. I paid lots of money to get my TV and signal 100% perfect, then these muppets come a long and mess it all up!

Hi,
Over the last couple of days we had lost BBC Four HD and BBC News HD. (They were fine until a couple of days ago or so) So today i did a full system retune. This has now made things ten times worse as i now only have 25 DTV stations and 11 radio stations. So after a retune i have lost well over half my channels that were perfectly fine before i retuned. The only reason i retuned was because i'd lost BBC Four HD and BBC News HD. So why have i lost so many more stations after a retune? We have a brand new ariel that was set up by an expert less than a year ago, and the TV is less than a week old. We're in the PE38 Hilgay area.

Hi Dave,
I discovered what the problem was. It was a faulty cable running from the HD box to the back of the TV. (We have the main ariel plugged into an HD freeview recorder box, then a cable from the box to the TV) So i replaced the cable and all is working perfectly again now, we have all freeview and freeview HD stations back. Our signals are reading 90% signal strength, and 100% quality.

Hi Dave,
I discoverd what the problem was. It was a faulty cable running from the HD box to the back of the TV. I replaced the cable and we now have all the stations and HD stations back. Our signal quality is back to 90% strength and 100% picture quality on both the HDTV reciever and our HD box reciever. Thanks for the help though.

Had no stations at all a couple of nights last week. And theTrue Christmas station and others keep going on and off since last week and all this week too. Postcode pe380qe

jb38: Last night ALL my stations went down for around 4 hours. We were watching BBC-HD when it suddenly went 'no signal' every single station HD and non HD went totaly down for around 4 hours, its getting worse since May 8th!
