to solve all your freeview problems go out and bye a FREESAT BOX AND DISH you can get them very cheap from argos or b&q 200 channels easy to install i did you get all freeview channels and more no picture break up etc you can even watch all bbc regional programmes i bought a humax hd box for 90 pound and used my sky dish to me freeview as to many problems

freesat is 100 times better than freeview ok there are some channels missing but who cares freeview as so many problems even after digital switchover to me freeview is just one big con people losing channels after switchover dont go bye a new freeview box by a freesat system welldont say i didnt tell you

hi this is also to tell you you can get all the regional variations on freesat so if want to watch local news in scotland you can there are 18 differant regions also on freesat youve got 4 film channels which you dont get on freeview

hi for the first time i get all freeview channels my aerial picks up bbc 1 yorks and bbc1 lincolnshire plus the 4 hd channels i.e. bbc1 and bbbc hd channels itv and channel 4 but i feel sorry for all the elderly who have no idea on how to do a rescan on there freeview box and no doubt being charged over the odds to have this done for them what is such a simple procedure

davidl: your tv is hd ready it will not recieve hd programmes you need an hd source to recieve hd programmes i.e a freeview hd box or a hd freesat box i suggest if you decide to bye one get an hd freeview recorder then you can watch one channel while recording another hope this as been of help to you

brendan C: complain to ofcom i had problems with freeview i gave my box away and bought a freesat hd system no problems now you get far more channels but if you want sky news you have to press non freesat button you even get movie channels on freesat god knows how the elderly cope with freeview now they want us to buy digital radios when theres nothing wrong with f m radio another big con

on your remote press menu go to system press arrow on the right go dianostics press ok at the bottom you will see signal strenght if you dont see anything then you are not getting a signal if there is a signal do a re scan i hope this is will help
