Janet:

True Entertainment is no longer avaailable from the Tacolnston transmitter. It was moved on behal=f of the owners, Sony, to use the local multiplexes where available. There are no local services on the Tacolnston transmitter.

Stephen Burnell:

You are correct that the transmitters used for the local channels are substantially lower power than the main channels. I used to live on top of a hill near Bremhill and we never got any of the 'local' channels there either.

Paul Quilter:

True Entertainment has been moved at the owner's agreement (Sony) onto local multiplexes, that are transmitted at lower power outputs than the usual range of channels.

A loval service aimed only at Nottingham is available on UHF channel 26, but it is highly unlikely to be received anywhere in the vicinity of Leicester.

Suzie Johns:

I put your post code into the Digital UK Cioverage Checker and it returned soome useful information for you. Have a look at Coverage Checker - Detailed View which is set for your location.

Scroll down and you will see that Sudbury and Rouncefall are good options with all multiplexes showing green bars, but other transmitters are unreliable of poor at your location.

Sudbury is 51 km away but Rouncefall is just 6 km away. So It would be worth a try for Rouncefall. You will need to have at least a Group B aerial or you could have a wideband type fitted to be sure it will cover all future changes, if any.

Bob:

Go to the website for True Entertainment, following the link near the top of this page. That will show the broadcasters explanation. If you are able to get any of the local services, you should also get this channel, but as the local services are on lower power transmissions they may not be available to all.

J Holden:

An indoor aerial will be useless at that distance from the transmitter, so don't waste your money on one. You would do far better to have a proper external aerial installed.

Then you didn't look well enough. True Entertainment is now only broadcast on the multiplexes used for local TV services. If you already get those then you will also get True Entertainment. But if you don't get local TV services then you will not get True Entertainment.
