darran bromley, what is freeview like on the main tv where the sky box is? what channels freeze at the magic eye? i would expect the wrong rf2 to stop some channels full on! (no signal) so i need to know that freeview is working ok from aerial first. ken hall, just one to cross off yhe list but what is the sound setting on the tv at magic eye? dk/l/i? should be i. don't think this will solve tho

stevenB , ripley is mostly waltham (e/mids) on aerial. unless you live where s/coldfield is the main transmitter for you freesat may be a cheaper option to view hd before switchover? not checked which street you live.

jason shaw, are your aerial cables and speaker/power cables entangled/running along side each other?

john fisher, any local post code in set up should regionlise bbc, if not you will find the local bbc in the channel list. brian springthorpe, it must be costing them a fortune to get on your nerves!! how important are you !! turn over?

looking at the signals after switchover it seems that some areas may be able to use group aerials again? just a thought? who is doing the work for the gov's oap/disabled £40 switchover scheme? because i have encounted some terrible cowboy work and people left with nothing!! are they working for bbc or contracted? and how are they getting the work?

funded not run! yes but these guys are getting paid for something and doing nothing! been to a customer today and she paid £40 to the bbc (she thinks) for a man to test with a meter and say the signal's not good enough? got me a job (i admit) but he's done nothing to help an oap? i know you don't need to know the answer but wondered who has set this up and how the contracts went out? not impressed with what i've seen of this and i was telling oap's to try this first
