Limavady area transmissions
why is there a "voiceover" commentary being transmitted on some digital channels?
the recent transmission of "the Fall" on BBC2 was ruined by this.

I am having trouble with channel 54 (738.0) on the Limavady transmitter.
I cannot tune in ITV 3 or the rest of the associated stations.
The signal strength usually "maximizes" at about 40 to 50% of total, however, it oscillates between Zero and the aforesaid maximums about 2/3 times every second.
Needless to say this makes it impossible to store any station broadcast on channel 54 (limavady)
can anyone offer an explanation?
is this interference caused by the local transmitter in Moville?
ironically, the channel is received interference free in Derry City.
I am receiving (in Malin Head Co.Donegal) all the other channels (including RTE etc) at a very high signal strength.
any help/information will be appreciated.
