I was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem i am experiencing. I have a new Samsung tv which i purchased from amazon online and was shipped from a european depot. I assume the television was designed for UK use.
I currently live in Vienna, Austria, and had the tv shipped over. When turning the tv on, i selected "Austria" from a list of options as to where i live. However, I have also purchased in Vienna a HDMI box and cable, which are not recognised by the television.
I have had several conflicting responses as to how to watch normal tv in Austria. Could someone please give me an answer and let me know exactly what i need to do or buy to fix this. Some have said i need to alter the tv, while others have suggested buying an HDMI box from england.
