Does anyone know why SKY is delaying the allocation of 101-199 on the new freeview epg ? Or are they just being 'bloody-minded' and their appeal will fail anyway after delaying the inevitable ?

i notice that you have omitted itv-1 west on channel 29 from ridge hill . the coverage is approx' the same as itv-1 central as it is also transmitted at 20 kw. this is a direct relay from mendip.

Dirok:do you mean 'transmitter' not 'aerial' ? what transmitter in what area ?
What do you mean by 'noise' ? transmitters cannot and do not 'issue noises '
what do you mean by 'health warnings' ?
Overall a lot that makes no sense !

RE SUPERSERVED RIDGE HILL a belated reply to 'aerial man ' of 2013! Although primarily ' ridge hill -west country east ' is mostly aimed at west glos , reception is generally available in most parts of its area though at reduced signal levels . However, ignore the uk digital postcode checker printouts which have censored it completely for most but not all other parts of the radiation pattern ! WEIRD , I do wonder what their reasoning is for their incomprehensible ,inaccurate and unhelpful attitude ?

Transmitter engineering:
I find it difficult to believe that instead of transmitting as a relay of Ridge Hill {midlands] that a feed from Mendip [west of england ] could not be found ? At the very least why isn't Itv 1 West Country [ which also transmits from Ridge Hill at 20kw on txer channel 29 ] used instead of 'central ' ? As a Tv service engineer in this part of the west of england I can vouch that there is NO interest in 'midlands' amongst the local population. It is the same illogical situation as affects the ST BRIAVELS relay that is even deeper in the west country !
