I live in the Henleaze area [BS9 4]of Bristol (which apparently should be covered by Bristol King's Weston transmitter. Indeed this corresponds to the frequencies I am receiving on each of the Mux I receive. I don't know much about the history of digital switchover here etc, but I can see that there are several different types of aerial (a 'regular' one, which is positioned vertically, and a 'cross-headed' one).

I notice that while using my tv tuner stick at the front of the house, I pick up all the main Mux. However, at the back of the house, the reception of
COM 6 C60 at 785.8MHz is variable at best but several of the Welsh Mux from the Wenvoe TX are received albeit at relatively low levels.

Currently, there is no aerial point in my room. I am looking for an indoor aerial that will give me the best possible reception for my Elgato TV Tuner. Failing that, I would be interested in getting an external aerial (with some guidance - wideband etc, group etc).

Finally, I see that only Mendip will receive the newest HD channels in my area and was wandering what chance I have of receiving them. I apologise for the verbose questioning, but there are several points at issue here which I really need your attention with. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance. Kind Regards
