Everything on COM4/CH58 (Winter Hill)shows no picture with bad sound break up on my Sony TV. Signal strength shows as 100% with good sig quality, EPG for COM4 working. All other channels OK, have tried an attenuator; no difference. This only started ~ 2 weeks ago - no RF modulators anywhere near CH58 - no changes to kit or cabling.

My other kit. Pioneer, JVC, Thompson is fine on SDN/COM4. I found this re issues with Sony/Panasonic in the NE:
"In the past, such problems have often been caused by the way data transmitted with the TV signal has been processed by certain makes and models of receiver. A fix was applied to the data associated with COM4/SDN multiplex channels from the North East Pontop Pike transmitter back in in January 2013." Are there plans for this fix to be applied to Winter Hill ?

I have resolved the problem with my Sony equipment. I borrowed a 4G filter - channel 58 appeared like magic...strange how my Pioneer, JVC, Goodmans, Thompson kit was unaffected...

Humax FOXSAT-HD freesat HD | Freesat

Following watching the 'Day of the Doctor' via Humax Foxsat HD, HDMI to Pioneer 435XDE, my HDMI input is 'fried' & I get the dreaded green screen after 10 seconds with the Humax connected. No othe HDCP compliant devices eg Pioneer BD320, Sony PVR, Yamaha DVD-S2700 will connect at all. This issue manifested itself a while back on this forum with various makes of TVs having damage cause dto their HDMI interfaces with Sky & Humax boxes. If I disable HDCP on my Humax box, SD channels can be viewed without the green screen. Bottom line is that the Humax HDCP software has probably corrupted the HDCP firmware in the Pioneer. Anyone know if the foc repairs would still be available ?

I have not been able to watch any channel 58 or 59 programmes for the last 2 weeks; all show very low signal strength all other channels indicate max (Winter Hill. Manchester M20) There are no indications of reduced power ?

Any suggestions
