Briantist: More 4+2 is transmitting on Astra 1N 11127/V/22000, with adverts for the new channel "4 Seven" starting on the 4th July 2012.

Briantist: I see that 4seven is now live on Freesat 127 ready for its launch at 7pm to-night.

Briantist: Eight more SD Olympic Streams have come live on Astra 1N 10876/V/22000. They are 7800, 7806, 7812, 7818, 7828, 7834, 7840 and 7846.

Briantist: I see the BBC Olympic streams are transmitting in 1920x1080 pixels. BBC One HD and BBC HD have been transmitting for some time as 1920x1080pixels. The live coverage on BBC Olympics 14 HD Stream is 1920x1080pixels, the camera they are using must be 320x240pixels

Briantist: I see that Astra 2F has arrived at the European Spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana, where it will now be processed for launch aboard an Ariane V rocket. The launch is scheduled for the 21st September 2012. This satellite was featured in a documentary programme on the BBC last November,. The programme was called "How To Build A Satellite".

Sky News and Challenge are definately on the Freesat EPG. You made need to do a first time switch on for your receiver.

Briantist: Two more HD transponders have come live with BBC Olympic feeds. They are 12129/V/29500 and 12441/V/29500. There are four HD streams on each transponder.
