Dear TK.
I've had a bit of a dingdong with some people on here.
Don't you be the next one.
That was all months and months ago.
If someone was to pull me up about my views then I'll robustly defend my views.
That "wittyness" remark was in reply to someone else or someone else's complaint that resulted in one of my comments going missing (probably due to a use of language?)
I don't hate, troll or speak untruths.
Any comment on hat I make is in the spirit of humour (black or otherwise) and therefore IS the height of witiness around these extra, extra dry parts.
This site is full of humourless sorts that would complain about the news being too full of depressing stories

Also TK, if you don't mind having the license fee being spent on never ending layers of management and consultants then more fool you.

It's available on Freeview but isn't. How typical of journalism nowadays

If the BBC think that what they show on BBC Four is a money maker that people are going to pay a subscription for then they are as deluded as deluded can be.

It's clear that Freeview has and is continuing to go down the toilet.
The latest channel shuffling and subsequent re-scans have revealed that for sure (Forces TV and Now 80's have gone) BBC4 still has the axe hanging over it also as does any channel they start to eye up for a reshuffle.
Plus 1 channels often disappear also as well as the never ending reruns of the same handful of films on Film 4. I end up going through the radio EPG and the children's channels in search of something more mentally stimulating.

Regarding Chris.SE comment, if channels go missing after multiple reshuffling and re-scans what is one to do other than complain?
Different areas of the Country get different services.
Forces TV and Now 80's are indeed still being broadcast but now not in my area.
So all that techno babble isn't much use when the public are extremely limited in what they can do in order to sort problems of this nature.
If someone's equipment doesn't tune in to those frequencies or those channels signal is not being broadcast in any given area then those people are stuffed. Simples.

The Ads on this site have got considerably worse.

"Young people don't value regional news" I've yet to see this generation of "young people" value anything period that doesn't come from their stooopid phones!
Young people also don't watch TV as we KEEP getting told, so why would any broadcaster take their views into account? "Young people" are allegedly not TV's target audience anymore.

They can't, couldn't or wouldn't even show an episode of an old comedy like Only Fools and Horses etc which should have cost them nothing as it's their I.P.
