He's something to look forward to. The grand final of Strickly Come Dancing, is to be broadcast from Blackpool's Tower Ballroom on Saturday 17 December, and will be in 3D for the first time.

Stuart O.: I don't know if this is what you saw, only on one of the previous Antiques Roadshow's one of the experts showed Fiona Bruce some designs of jewellery that he was hoping one day to see on the Antiques Roadshow. A woman who was watching the programme realised that she had one of the designs and on a programme the was broadcast a few weeks ago, presented it to the expert. This brooch was sold at auction for £31,000 and was mentioned on the Midland News today.

Briantist: I assume the BBC will do what they did at the Wimbledon Tennis Finals with two sets of cameras. One set for 2D BBC One and BBC One HD and another set of 3D cameras for BBC HD.

Mike Dimmick: I see on the SES-Astra web site it shows that Astra 1N has three footprints. UK Spot Beam, Pan-European Beam 1 and Pan-European Beam 2. The UK Spot Beam looks tighter than the footprint of Astra 2D. If for example BBC move their channels on to Astra 1N, with its tighter footprint on the UK, will this mean that people living in Spain who can now receive the BBC channels find them missing.

Briantist: As well as providing transmissions for Sky and Freesat, it will also provide the same transmissions for REAL Digital TV which launches on September the 1st.
