It does make a difference to the noise performance. A given size chunk of noise will expand more if the original signal is compressed more. If you have marginal reception you can expect interference to be bigger or last longer.

I have a MythTV system and have noticed while editing some recordings that keyframes are getting very far apart, up to 30 seconds during film titles. Not good if you have a splat or if you've just tuned to that channel

Has this channel ceased on Feeview? I did a retune this morning and there is no trace of anything at channel 32.

MikeB; I'm pretty sure it's the right transmitter (Wenvoe) as the scan picked up the correct muxes and frequencies. I'll try another day.

Oh yes, It's missed out Dave too. The TV gets them just missed out on my MythTV box. Must have been leaves on the line when I scanned. Will try again tomorrow.

I Have CBBCHD in the EIT listings from Wenvoe from Dec 10th So you can probably add that to the transmitter list.

1) Don't muck it up by going all Yahoo! It's nice to have a page that is mostly useful content.
2) Remove the big picture background and stock photos. I sometimes use this site over VNC and images are slow.
3) If you want to grow revenue I would expand into Europe
