Briantist: Yes I know. The two points are not conflated, they are separate points. 1 applies to domestic users, 2 applies to pubs and clubs. The breach of copyright occurs when the pub broadcasts the logo and anthem to its customers.

I live in East Yorkshire - HU17 and get Freeview from Belmont (60kms away). When I first got digital TV about 7 years ago the weak signal then on offer was interfered with by local farmers' two way radios and possbly TETRA as well. I bought a High Pass RF filter from Maplin and it cured the problem. Since switch-over there have been no problems with reception - perfect in fact but now I am worried about 4G interference especially as I have a masthead amp and a distribution amp to 3 TVs. Do I now need another filter to keep out 4G at the other end of the spectrum?

Dave Lindsay - Thanks for the reply. I will just wait and see what happens (if anything). I might have a go at removing the masthead amp though as it is an old-fashioned unscreened one I "inherited" from the previous owner of the house. Thanks again.

Joy Harris/Ian Hall - I think there is a bit of inversion going on at the moment due to the weather (high pressure). I live near Beverley and I am getting good signal strength but poor signal quality - this is usually due to interference from foreign transmitters bouncing around the atmosphere under these calm weather conditions. It was worse last night but better this morning. There is nothing you can do abouit it but rest assured that plenty of other people will be having the same poroblems.

Paul: Very bad inversion effect going on at the moment. Nothing you can do about it.

Seems logical to me. Quite frankly BBC1+1 would be a more useful service than BBC3 which, for the most part, is a waste of airspace.
