Hi. For me to help you, just think of your problem and answer each question in turn. First, are you seeing the words "No Signal" or "Technical fault" on the TV screen?

My TV 's with freesat boxes ( Humax) has lost colour and one has also lost sound, after the New Signal began and my friend says this is interference and needs a filter? What is she talking about?? How do I get these and are they free?

Kay Gillman: Have you tried the tv connections push in the scart connector at the back of tv and freeview box.. that should sort out colour and sound problems.... if that dont work try another scart lead... let me know how you got on

Hello. Is it possible to use a UK Freeview box with a 1970s French TV ? It's all in French so I assume it was made for the home market and therefore SECAM.
With thanks.

Miles: Presumably the TV is too old to have a SCART socket so you would need to use a Freeview box with a UHF modulator output, which is probably going to involve finding an older Freeview box as I don't think I've seen any Freeview HD boxes which have a modulator and SD only Freeview boxes haven't been on sale for a few years now.
