Mark A: Apparently ITV4 won over ITV3 due to it hosting sport.

Mark A: The reason that ITV is on the PSB2 multiplex is that it's the "Licenced Public Service" that provides ITV plc, STV plc and UTV Media access to half the mux.ITV, ITV HD and ITV+1 aren't national services, they have fully local adverts, which they must to comply with the "Contracts Rights Renewal (CRR) remedy" - Airtime sales rules | Ofcom - in addition the PSB2 multiplex carries the STV four regions (Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Dundee) in Scotland, as well as UTV in NI. ITV2, ITV3, ITV4 and ITVbe are all the same whereever in the UK you watch them, wiith UK-wide adverts.

des sykes: Its still on guide number 24, but though is now being transmitted on the PSB2 Mux as used by ITV etc, therefore you will have to carry out a retune in order to update your programme guide.

turned on ITV4 last night, no service at all but just a message on screen saying ITV4 has moved and to retune? Don't we get notice about such a move, as thought I had recorded cycling, but have recorded blank screen instead. Am few miles from Sandy Heath T/mitter

HI. I wanted to watch ITV4 yesterday as usual but it came up as no channel. I've tried to find it on another number without success. What has happened to it ?

I 'lost' ITV4 and retuned and it is now back at channel 24 but my digital recorder is no longer recognising this channel. It jumps from channel 22 to channel 25. Does anybody know how to fix this problem?

Phil: That's the same for me. I can get ITV on 24 on Freeview but not on digital. It says channel has moved but did a rescan and still doesn't bring up ITV4 on digital
