Tracey: You can add the channel via "add channels" using 10906 Vertical 22 5/6 and then watch using "more channels".

"STV +1" appears to be no longer broadcast on satellite and has been replaced by "STV Tayside" on Astra 2E 10.906 GHz vertical SID 10225

This can very easily be verifed by comparing the program on STV North/East/West with that on SID 10225 -- it is exactly the same program, not a +1 hour delay.

anne lindsay: Where are you? A location, preferably in the form of postcode, is essential so as to answer the question!

anne mccluskey:

As we are not the Broadcaster we can't answer the question directly but might it be programme dependant?
If you want a definitive answer you'd be best contacting STV - enquiries@stv.tv or 0141 300 3704 (Open 10am - 2pm Monday to Friday).

Elaine Egan:

I can't find any reported transmitter faults, and there's no Planned Engineering listed BUT it may depend on exactly which transmitter you might be receiving as there's more than one in some places in your general area, so a full postcode would be needed to provide further information on that.
However this could be a Broadcaster issue rather than a transmitter problem especially if you are still able to get other channels such as Channel 4 and Channel 5. The post before yours has STV's contact details.
