Paul: Again, it is down to individual channels what platforms they wish to go on.

I guess that it is probably more profitable for them to pay to be free-to-air on the Freeview Commercial channels as well as Sky's subscription service.

Hi, we are getting a poor/intermittent signal ref SX562463, stoke beach aimed at Aveton Gifford. Can you advise best signal and horizontal or vertical set up. Thanks (SX562463)

Gary Smith: The only transmitter you have a good chance of getting a line-of-sight to is Kingsbridge (east, 101 degrees, 16km) which is vertical.

However, you need to have an aerial about 25 meters above ground level to achieve a line-of-sight.

To be honest - you should probably use Freesat if you want a reliable reception method.
