Hello, I have a new tv with a Freeview hd tuner.(I have a new aerial and can receive freeview in my area).
I also have a Sky dish and plan to dump Sky and go for freesat.
My question is if I bought a Humax Foxsat hd box,and therefore being able to watch and record freesat, would I also be able to watch Freeview and have the best of both worlds.

Brian: You would not be able to record from Freeview on a satellite recorder, nor vice-versa.

Hi, we have just had a baby an are cutting back on everything. I have finished my contract with Sky. I have a Sky+ HD Box, which now doesn't pause/rewind/record. What would you recommend I go for as there's so much choice? Would like to be able to pause/rewind/record, an have HD channels. My TV set up is all Sony (PS3, Surround Sound, TV etc). I live in the Sutton, Surrey area, an have excellent reception. Many thanks for your help. Mark

Mark. H: You can just swap the Sky+HD box for a Freesat+HD box. The price is generally determined by the capacity of the hard drive.

Catherine: You just need to run in a satellite-grade coaxial cable from the Freesat box to the dish.
