We need a full post code so that we can see what the expected reception conditions are like at your location. Pixilation can be caused by either too much or too little signal or by outside intereference. That will also tell us which if the over 1100 transmitters you are using and hence what the current channels used for the multiplexes are.

Please check all your aerial connections and unplug and coaxial plugs/sockets and refit them to remove any corrosion/oxidation from the copntact sufaces.

Hi , visiting my elderly father in Inverness, postcode IV3 and he has a no signal message on his tv screen for BBC1 BBC2 BBC4 , any suggestions please as to what might have caused this?

Firstly, we need a full post code, not a partial, so we can look up the expected reception conditions at your father's location.

Secondly, please check all the aerial cables and connections for damage. Unplug all the coaxial plugs/sockets and then refit them, that will clear any corrosion/oxidation from the contacts which is a common cause of the problems you report.
