Why is the FREEVIEW HD ITV region in WALES, ITV CENTRAL ? Is ITV local news actually in HD apart from ITV LONDON of course ?

Briantist: Have you seen the 'Table of Broadcasting Stations for Multiplex L' (the Local TV multiplex)? It's appeared on Ofcom's licensing website, dated this Monday (29 July):

http://licensing.ofcom.or….pdf

Confirmed start dates, UHF channels, aerial heights, polarisation, ERP and radiation patterns.

The licences themselves have also appeared at Ofcom | Multiplex L

Mike Dimmick: Thanks very much for the links.

I was rather hoping that the information would turn up in the http://www.ofcom.org.uk/s….csv file.

I have had a look at the documents and I see I will have to get to work - again [1] - entering radiation patterns!

Thankfully most of the information looks like it is the same as the bid process, which is in the database already, but suppressed.

And as Ofcom have called them all "Mux L", I am going to prepend the POSTCODE of the main service area to them, ie

LBT for Belfast
LB for Birmingham
LBN for Brighton and Hove
LBS for Bristol
LCF for Cardiff
LEH for Edinburgh
LG for Glasgow
LDN for Grimsby
LLS for Leeds
LL for Liverpool
LW for London
LM for Manchester
LNE for Newcastle
LNR for Norwich
LNG for Nottingham
LOX for Oxford
LPR for Preston
LS for Sheffield
LSO for Southampton

Or is this too confusing?

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help.

My tv lost all signal, I ran a scan for channels and it says no channels found please check your antenna. This is quite an old tv and freeview set so I swapped the tv for a 2 year old tv that has built in free view and still no channels and the same message. I assumed it was the aerial ski bought a 'one for all digital freeview' aerial and still the same problem. I've now tried a 3rd tv and still nothing!

If anyone has any advise I'd be very grateful.

Thanks

Laura

Laura: As your query is basically one involving reception then its not possible for anyone to offer advice without having prior knowledge of your location, this in the form of a post code or one from nearby, e.g: a shop/post office.

I have this week lost all but 9 channels (ITV, Channel 4 etc still there) from my freeview set. I have no BBC output at all. I have unplugged, removed the aerial connection, retuned and then replaced the aerial and then retuned again but no luck. Have you any suggestions please?
