SteveG: You don't have a DVB-T2 tuner, so you won't receive any HD channels. You could use the set in some countries to receive MPEG4 encoded services, such as Ireland, but MPEG4 is not allowed in the UK on DVB-T, only DVB-T2.

gin: That does rather suggest you are getting signals from Crystal Palace *OR* you have an very old cable TV system that still has five analogue channels on it - but the Virgin site says you don't have cable.

Can you borrow a Freeview box from a friend and see if that works, it could be your current box is not working.

Hi, I'm in Derby and I've lost Film 4 and ITV 4, channels 15 and 24 respectively. I keep trying to retune, installation, but still no joy.

I live in a tower block that has just had a sky communal dish installed. unfortunately when i had my sky box installed it comes up no signal, sky says it isn't them, the council say there is nothing wrong with the aerial. could the problem be with my tv? it is only 4 years old (phillips) hd ready. i had a problem with the tv when the digital switchover took place (no bbc red button or text) and phillips took the tv for a software upgrade. could this be the problem?

christine: If the Sky box says "no signal" then that is a message from the Sky box and has nothing to do with your television set.

The best thing to check first is What can I do when my Sky Digibox says 'No Signal' or 'Technical fault'? | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice - but it could be that you don't actually have a signal, or that the box is broken.

Hi. Just to say that PBS is available to Freesart viewers if they tune it in them selves on 12.642H. On my set it is called ROSA, what ever that means. Hope this is of use.

ALAN PEACHEY: I can see it on Eurobird 1 & Astra 1N/2A/2B/2D at 28.2°E - LyngSat as well, but my box refuses to add it.

Hi. Briantist. Has you box got a place where it says other satelite channels or extra channels? You might be able to add it that way. that is what I do. So far I have found about 60 extra channels that are not on Freesat but are free to air. I am just some body who likes to finding channels for fun. I am not a techichal person. I hope this is of use.
